Cooperation of China and Korea in an effort to lift the film back each produce an astonishing collaboration. Two actresses who are recognized in each country will be in one screen, under the direction of Chinese American director, Wayne Wang (Maid in Manhattan)
The news states that the actor who will fill this film comes from Taiwan F4 group, but not yet known who the personnel referred to, between Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Ken Chu and Vanessa Wu .
The most interesting part of this story, of course, adapted the novel Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. Told two women, Lily and Snow Flower, know each other through correspondence in Nu Shu, a code language used by women in ancient times, to communicate with each other secrets. long story short and to avoid the disclosure of further stories, this film tells the status of women in the age it (c. 1800s), in their suffering because of the tradition of foot binding, their social position, their status as 'only' property and the revolution in China which reportedly claimed 20 million lives .-
Another interesting, in this book are erotic scenes between Lily and Snow Flower. This scene involves a naked scene that reportedly will also be adapted into a movie. Because it was also the refuse Shu Qi plays a role in this film.
