Art in Balinese society is a complex element that seems very popular with residents, so it looks as if to dominate the whole life of the Balinese. On the basis of such functions, the arts are a focus of Balinese culture. in Bali is rich in the arts. All the branches grow and develop the arts in the life of the people of Bali, including fine art, performing arts and literary arts.

Cover art is a branch of art sculpture, painting and decorative arts. Sculpture on the people of Bali have experienced a long development, namely (1) statues patterned from the megalithic pre Hindus and regarded as a human link with the ancestors and the forces of nature; (2) statues of the gods, as the media humans with the gods and this is the influence of Hindu Buddha; (3) sculpture themed characters from the Ramayana story and Mahabrata; (4) other forms of reliefs carved on the walls and door pillar houses; (5) sculpture naturalist.
